Despite their shitty movies,

Syfy now has a show with an openly gay character that is treated as a normal person  without his homosexuality being the focus of anything, just a character detail (Warehouse 13), and it has a show with an autistic character that is generally treated respectfully and is an incredibly useful and functioning part of the group (Alphas).
